It's always news if it's in the East coast print press, you know the leaders of smear when they get distracted from actually reporting something newsworthy on the top fold of the front page crowd.  Well it too is note worthy when Ann Coulter gives rile to the omission viewpoint of news NOT told.  That is where after Barak Obama did his one time at John McCains' insistence to at least drop in on the troops in Iraq and subsequently tripped over some European countries to be familiar with those campaign questions to come and Youtube photos, what he missed was the quiet afterwards.   If you catch the news from web sites, then it's no secret that the EU has a 2X unemployment rate the USA, and that Berlin is almost 2X the EU at 17%.  So it is no wonder when in summer Barak had an audience of young folks with nothing to do that didn't cost money.  It is also no secret that Europe has petrol costs at the pump that would give most Americans a heart attack, somewhere between $5-$9 per gallon ~!  So when Barak got around to 'drafting' those young Europeans to be the fiscal escape for our troops in Afghanistan, that $10B/Month Bush/McCain military expense, these young Germans got smart real quick and started to use their feet to find an exit, just like soccer fans that don't want to be the 'trampled to death' crowd when things don't go right. About now the papers of repute have little follow up on the other side of the pond which omission is strong medicine for further enquiry...just like they don't do for the Iraq handover of Anbar Province...not going to happen until after the November election.  It's also not a story that they'll tell that the EU folks have figured out Barak on Old Energy...you've heard about his $1000 per house giveaway, that American BIG Oil pays more in taxes than they earn in America....those unemployed EU, so many under 30 haven't had a first job, unless they wear underware or expensive stuff in front of cameras/models; they're OK with high gas because they don't use the stuff directly,but have figured the 'Winddfall tax' that Obama talks about is not going to come from taxed out America that flounders with $4 gas, but them!  You see Barak Obama already has admitted to the World that his economic plan cannot get the spending from his broken Jimmy Carter like policy prescription, nor the 1% rich in this country, and has signaled that he needs many more willing contributors to his jolly Hugo Chavez minded governing to spend proposed Administration, but the folks in Europe already incapable of helping Poland fend off Putin' nuclear missle threats, aren't getting press about Baraks' funding reach!   They know that if Big Oil is being taxed beyond American profit levels that money is coming from somewhere else, and Europe with higher taxes is probably the most likely source of that revenue...Obama has our Allies in the crosshairs of their paychecks, they don't get to vote here, and someone ought to better shine the light around.     

It's telling the more we see of someone whether the connection is there or not, relevant to the relationship that is material to the decision that sometimes more is less.  Take for instance this past Saturday' Saddleback interview when the president to be (if elected)  couldn't with a straight face answer even this question, " When does life begin?"  The prepositioning of an answer is enough to bother many of us that pay attention, especially the guy from south Chicago, but to then skip to the party's fringe special interests to avoid an honest or intelligent response, the World audience got , "it's above my pay grade."!  What message did that send?  As a Harvard Law grad and a Christian with having helped to produce at least two children , one would expect a more evolved answer than essentially saying 'duh'.  Today he trips his campaign conversation to a press question to McCain about how many homes he owns, well married to a rich woman and at 72 who seems to spend more time helping Ted Kennedy with legislation than counting places he gets to sleep at, says to me that McCain isn't a 'gold digger', and Barak's quibble is a distraction about nothing much.  However the charity of a man can be measured, the McCain's have adopted very needy children...yet this week,  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/uselection2008/barackobama/2590614/Barack-Obamas-lost-brother-found-in-Kenya.html , a story breaks that Obama has a younger brother that according to Italian press account lives on less than a dollar a month, for a person that wants to give 'fairness' a bigger plug line as a means to taxing some Americans yet more, who gave $20,000 to his church after making millions on a book that most high elected office seekers would have donated to charity, he couldn't see the Christian self side benefit to lend his 'fathers own blood a helping hand'.  How many of us will be tempted to send his brother George a check in the amount of a measly annual magazine subscription knowing that that would quadruple his annual spending!   It's been common for so many democratic candidates to lecture from the stump, start a sentence and drift within several times without ever finishing the statement or question, again this past weekend Barak fell back on the weasle plan and began with his usual "ah ah uh" and finished with "it's above my pay grade"!  I'm not sure what job application that would be acceptable if required, but for me that doesn't get my VOTE come November.  I expect my President to know when life begins.

It's incredible that the MSM report so little news that should be a template for the American mind to digest in front of an important election, but that just doesn't happen anymore where the 1st Amendment is shrouded in gilded speak. Today it's reported quietly that there are now 36 states that have elevated obecity ratings, exaserbated by high food prices, (inflation), primarily the out-product of high energy prices.  It's no wonder if the various fuel tanks that aren't connected to some "green source" that the economic flow through is getting to be a rough ride for everyone remotely connected to breathing on a regular basis. So the 'news' that wallet constriction has resulted in not only billions of fewer traveled miles,(otherwise spelled as some sort of fun), has caused the pantry to exhibit similar indigestion, which was the news not heard.  All the 'alternative' eating  for cost reasons, any wonder, last year you could buy chicken for less than bananas, or apples for beef or pork...well that has reversed, all the while the cost of fuel has lent a previous substitution to now even other food choices..which are more carbohydrate centric and less 'healthy eating' oriented.  So the liberal coalition of Sierra Clubbies and NO-DRILL friends are exacting a real toll, we'll leave the NEA out today, their no exercise policy for the friends of trial lawyers is so well known for lazy children...or the living wage that is like math&science to GDP+inputs=outputs doesn't =2, that as the Democratic party says they care about the 'little guy', really they just throw head mud at your temple and think that you're too stupid to get the trail of what comes from where and what it took to do the exercise!  Every day that I eat out of our garden and don't have to compete in the grocery store I feel that I've contributed to competition at the checkout counter without encouraging the tax man or some other liberal misdirected idea taking root in a solution that was the result of BAD POLICY, just ask Nancy from San Francisco.  If phantom energy years out is doing anything to solve your mortgage payment or even keep your dinner choice stable then you live in a world that is even more microscopic than the food that I appreciate from our garden, but that isn't the macro of America, and Pelosi doesn't get the number picture anymore than who paid for her last plane trip home as Speaker.

The left press wants to make the incursion by Russia into Georgia a revisionist statement about what GWB said 8 years ago about looking into Vladimirs' eyes and seeing his soul, oh well.  The tradgedy of that public global airing probably with a further historic viewback will show that GWB was the thorn that Putin couldn't any longer contain!  Just check the manuevering that  VP Putin has done to if not get approval to a 3rd term as president, now as PM, and second in command to his handpicked 'puppet' successor, President Medvedev, with a USA presidential election that stages the unusual of senator VS senator, the EU a wimp to police their own petty affairs and certainly not willing to offer more than commerce of cars and booze, left the dimunitive poorly dressed guy from the KGB to retaliate against senior citizens in a 'broke away' soveriegn country with not much more than "hope" and aspirational desire of self governance!  The icy veins of the Russians just cannot get past their past...human misery is a constant, anger management hasn't become a UN mandate for incorrugable countries that don't seem to recognize the calendar. For those caught in between there is humanitarian supplies if they get them, it seems the bullies to the north already had a tent city near Beslan, that horror death hole,  to replace what had been 'home' to them..all this to save them from the Georgians! What would benefit the World would be for everyone to recognize that the Russians need  'their territory' be respected as one would  livestock, fenced and closely watched,  but no expansionist behavior permitted without proper legal acquisition  that even a miscreant UN could approve.
