This past week has been but an extension of more of the same that started really getting going  August 2007, when some in the press began throwing bigger pots to get attention that even John McCain whistle blew congress in 2005.  That's the recent story, but anyone with a computer or library can find the trail back to 1977 and President Jimmy Carter, whom Barak Obama seems to want his second and third terms with very similar now in our face failed ideas and social program policy.  This Fannie and Freddie is the construct of Liberals since 1938, and revisited every so often like Santa Claus sees Rudolph in December.  To make this less of a contorted "last minute" gotta do legislation of $700B, maybe the congresspeople in the room ought to step back and see which of themselves is really involved; the biggest aggravants of the condition reside in CA,FL,NV,and AZ, along with the latest enablers of Fan and Fred CT Dodd, and MA Frank, therefore the room is probably occupied by alot of earmark friends or the change room is friendlier than we Americans are accustomed to.  If smart ideas come to one in the night like so many fiction novels, why can't congress come up with something that resembles what the majority of the hinterland feels instinctively?  On the other hand, why if they are supposed to be proactive and preemptatory, where was the document in the coach to simply be retrieved?  These representatives are not given the benefit of doubt, senators routinely take years off from regular paid for job and campaign for the next higher level of office!  So now this last minute deal is getting some Barney Frank and Chris Dodd add on that after the campaign slush fund of Fan and Fred has been absorbed by taxpayers in a just weeks ago $300B BAILOUT, are trying to layer this new deal with replacement slush fund for me the politician dollars....do these idiots think we can be rolled for ever?  That is the bottom line of the hurried crap that is going on in Washington,D.C. this weekend...survival of themselves at the altar of an election.  Flush the whole bunch, the sooner the better for all of us. These  attention seeking individuals eat our lunch and do, or have been doing little to create a better lunch for as long as most of us can remember...take that to sleep tonight.
