What The 2011 IOWA Caucus Says

Thank goodness that event is finally over, how much FOX News' obsession with trying to determine the candidate for the GOP now for months and last night's coverage  was enough despite Megyn Kelly being easy on the eyes, to get me to switch to CBS crime drama.   Honestly equating a caucus at the same level as a National election.  Let's just admit that the debate questions and media presence so far isn't doing any better than the frustrated campaigns are achieving.  What pops out is an overwhelming expression that many Americans are fed up with the status quo in both parties policies once settled into DC Beltway old habits election after election.  That the Independent vote count is enlarging is reason to notice and be afraid of at the same time.  It's those voters over the years that have swung elections towards alternative candidates such as Ross Perot, Jesse Ventura, Ralph Nader, and Ron Paul, certainly a message of disaffection, but nothing that the parties take serious or gets the change that's really needed in transforming the swamp in the East to be more responsible with public monies and fiscal reality.   America is approaching a Greek crossroad of debt and the limiting opportunities that entails, so we better undersatand just where this nomination process leads the country when November rolls around.  Elections do matter, and change is what we got with Obama, not what most had in mind however, and four more years is not an attractive condition to Solyndra.

IS Penn State Deviancy the NEW Catholic Church Sinners Club

The 'Ole Greek Spa' is "just human nature", sure!  The bigger question is is this just Penn State, or is it wider to include many more jock locker room scenes college-wide?  Once the Catholic Church was forced to examine itself and yet continues to see the dominoes shake out, will the national  University system exhibit the same scenario?   How many more 'real' individuals come forward? The world continues to reveal the same behavior, just with new attitude that may actually derive a solution to ...mental disease.

Obama's 2011 Midwest 'Watching the Corn Grow' Tour

What a sight to behold and hear at each stop, the president at least is persistent in lecturing the same tired mantras to America.  One could say this guy has arrested economic development syndrome.  What someone ought to relate to the president is the idea of wealth creation, at least present a question as Joe the plumber did, as to whether the government is capable of that or if the private market is the only arena that produces, then maybe his constant of pushing unions and another stimulus plan with Chinese money is not going to get Americans employed in sustainable jobs.  Looking at the stock market behavior it's easy to see that his programs are sending a 'you're fired' signal to his re-election efforts.  It wouldn't surprise if Obama were to suggest buying three million buses and hiring three million drivers to garner some better employment statistics.  Considering his economic team is down to Timmy Tax Cheat Geithner  from the original pack, the idea flow must be rather shallow.

GREENSPAN Was Wrong About An American Sovereign Fund

America wouldn't be in this fiscal mess if one, politicians actually lock-boxed funds, and some were, and kept them there.  The maestro with the Reagan Tax reforms of 1986 applauded themselves as saving Social Security for another generation, well they accomplished that with the wink to transfer the funds in excess of current distribution, knowing the demographic curve, to other use.  Along the way elections always caused debate on monetary soundness and the security of seniors not living on dogfood, yet Alan Greenspan contuiously turned away from America maintaining a Soveriegn Wealth Fund, like actually investing the excess cash for a rainy day on the premise that it would be too much a  tamper target.  The crash of October 1987 the Dow and S&P closed at 1738.74 and 752.44 respectively.   Today they closed at 10,719.94 and 1120.76 respectively; Singapore and Saudia Arabia as well as Norway and others have Soveriegn Funds and are doing fine, and actually paid for their bike paths and ground tire playground yard cover with dedicated taxes, not raided retirement funds with the cash that now is IOU's that are held by Ben Bernanke's Treasury.  Maybe America should assemble a Top 100 politicians who are most responsible for the RIP-OFF of Citizen Savings since 1986.

Bernanke's Subliminal Messages

It was no surprise that the Treasury Secretary issued such a downbeat forecast of this economy today considering the published numbers, and perhaps an inside look at the administration's intent.  What the press hasn't grabbed onto yet since they are all giggles about a 430 point advance above the previous disaster day Dow plunge conversation is the meaning of the date mid 2013.  Sure Bill Gross over at Pimco thinks that is a trade date without 'uncertainty' about 0.0-0.25% interest rate handles.  But for American savers it's a disaster, consider the new mortgage requirement of 20% down, that means your saved dollars are slowly evaporating by the rate of inflation the Fed is trying to elevate,  some help to the housing market.  Then there are the retrirees that have allocated away from risk to Bonds or CD's, again nothing earned there to spend in the economy, just pain of gradual liquidation to finance the government or other preferred constituents.  So what will the November 6, 2012 voter response be towards these acts of theft by a class or two  that usually votes?  It might also be of interest  to contimplate why Ben chose mid-2013 as a marker, did he send a message that a 'new President elect' would be neccesary to seek the employment and economic dynamic that is so needed?   Who says the Fed isn't above politics when they play with the peoples money, and why gold is shining beyond it's glamour use.

AMERICA's AA+ Rating, Look In The Spend-O-Mirror D.C.

It used to be that in America when times got rough, the tough got tougher, now it seems finger pointing and looking for a bankroller is is in order.  China is not answering and Russia says we are "economic parasites".  So with that in mind we will surely hear more whining the likes of John Kerry carrying proverbial water for the democrats in the name of Nancy Pelosi, a quaint gesture considering she doesn't go anywhere not wearing at least ten grand in clothes and jewelry, and he on his hair in a year, some democrats that claim to champion the 'little guy".   This train wreck has been voiced by that party for decades, Al Gore and the 'lock box', unless it wasn't a current political football for the next election, which probably reached it's height when Bush 43 wanted to curb the excess expectations and put the 3rd rail SSI up for repair, they said " it's not a problem".  So along comes the "historical black president" that thinks money is just a "millionaire and billionaire" service charge away.  What with the Tea Party and other non gratta folks walking the neighborhoods what is needed now that Speaker Boehner is tasking is for House hearings that call up such distinguished past participants to this crash up like Al Gore and let him remind the country what he meant about a  'lock box' then and how he would remedy the situation now.  Let the show begin.

Obama a National Economic MENACE

Set aside the 'Bush caused it' syndrome with this Administration as an out for such graphic poor performance when America has such needs that the economy is capable of providing but  just can't jump the gap.  This President is hell-bent on a utopian 22nd century vision of pure air and reformed glaciers, and alpaca sweaters for everyone without industrial farming that the world is suffering the sad of it all.   Keynesian economics is voodoo, you cannot make one dollar two no matter the spokesperson; you can increase the velocity of exchange, but needs an economy on at least caffeine, this one is on prosac.  We as a country have endured the 99 weeks of unemployment insurance if you qualified, many didn't and so many more now don't, but that is again this shallow thinker's proposal to gimp an economy to somewhere; I'd like to know exactly where Mr. Obama thinks this economy will be and by what means in 2012?   President Obama is NOT Jimmy Carter II, he isn't naive of the honest mistakes of the 1970's, and the quantitative information today gives Obama a clear and concise ability to decide different, it's been his choosing to allow this country to flounder for the tilt of windmills to nowhere.

Buckeye Balls VS Sloth Harry, What's Gained?

It seems America is addicted to spending money it doesn't earn from doing the things the rest of the World does do, and the democrats are more apt to complain their policy deficit than the fiscal deficit that results.   If America would just look at the success that has been and is being achieved in the BRIC countries and our closest trade partners we would see that resource exploitation is a winner.  A no go from the environmental and legal crowd, an ugly 'special interest' groups upon the USA.  President Obama  continues to promote 'green energy' to create millions of jobs,  we already have sufficient electricity,  so how is that going to be a huge jobs creator beyond creative destruction?  Look no further than the phone companies.  The worlds new wealth is being created by cutting trees, mining minerals, and producing energy sources, all on the Obama and EPA's NO List!  Instead the deals and employment opportunities go to Brazil, or Russia or Indonesia, and Australia and Canada, even vegetable production is moved to Mexico and  Peru; want a pear call Argentina, what does it take to get a national politician to get a real world education in these things?

WikiLeaks Global Reset

Yeh, when Putin ways in, things are revved-up.  London arrested and is keeping Assange without BAIL on a "lack" of charge!  What the  #%&*   is London doing pretending to help Sweden about a failed condom situation...things are going to get alot more strange if these "western"  governments don't get with a real program that meets metal to the profile! One might take a high distaste to Mr. Assange, but to elevate him to status that makes (soveriegn governments) to begin  to act stupid get other peoples' attention. What are YOU hiding?    The World is tired of the phony global warming crisis, the IT's THIS OR THAT crap public paid for conventions at 5* hotels with security that equals the Oscars, uhps, we' re going to be serious?
The matter with  Earth is that we are governed  by less than credible folks, whether good intentioned  or not,  we deserve better.
The upshot IS that World  governments are taking notice of their "past" comments; maybe this will be an improvment of behavior.  Bill Clinton was profound with "move on" as  a comment with admonition to do just that........improve.  Globally goverments are reluctant to do the right thing, slowly they are, but not soon enough considering the dynamics of the changes desired by WE the PEOPLE.

Poor BP,used 2 be an Oil Company, now just a...

BP, whatever that means since it's been in trasnsition for years with a block on outsiders to contribute email contact with their corporate culture, no wonder, they dream a British schism that defies reality.  To remind everyone, BP used to be British Petroleum, then a happy environmental speaker of Beyond Petroleum, recently Drudge labeled Barack Petroleum, and now it's more Being Pilfored for Welfare doing Petroleum.  If America expects to collect on Barry's "shakedown" from "BP", one needs to watch it's cash flow and where it's derived from..ughO..OIL.  Beyond the simple of the spill and it's ugly, the subsequent reactions from this White House are more the kids can't shoot when they even hold the 'gun'.  Moritoriums here and there, hate coal, oil and carbon with a planet Earth that is ALL of the above; have you owned a defective electric charge device, and did it give service to mow your lawn? Want a car that is that reliable tomorrow? Not me, enough with the little stuff.
So BP rolled over to a White House elbow to become an adjunt to America's gulf cleanup and way more welfare policy into the extended future; do existing shareholders, principly British retires or that pitiful Parliament getting the fact that the suspension of their dividend is just the beginning of a long drought of Pence not going their way!   We need to include the political desire to strangle the Western World with yet more 'foreign' oil or just a lot less oil and much higher price to do business...if munisapalities thought tax receipts and delivery of essentials was not coming into treasuries or expenive, just wait, this is the Barry legacy to broken governance that delivers.

President Obama where's my Go to a Gulf Beach Subsidy?

Since your Administration refuses to acknowledge that  your prescriptions for America are anything but perfect, and that "cash for something" is an "economic multiplier", how about an incentive to help our friends in the hot and sticky south?  Your partisan friends in the House & Senate are eager to craft spending and debt creation that most realize a dollar borrowed is at least $3 dollars repaid: you've been more than accomodative of China financing toothpaste and everyday whatevers on the National tab for prefered "tax" credits so why not include a vacation as the Spanish recently suggested?  It's so obvious that you are "President" for some of America, and that you operate as though you are a ONE TERM Carteresque dude, have other operative operandus modi, but have a little "real concern" for the environment if not the "red state" gulf  State' condition!  It's only 2 months into your crowds lame crappy response, so what special chat is tomorrows' speech going to pesuade?  Must be either one big threat or a bigger bailout?

Obama's Administration Breakdown

We're at about mid-term for this wayword  sloppy at best as Hillary Clinton expressed at the pre-election debates, "on the job training" with President Obama & company.  Think oil; I'll keep "my boot on...looking over your shoulder, every nickle and dime"; well Dear President have YOU dotted the dots about the dimes?  I think NOT.  BP was a cavalier ad master about 'after oil', but with this disaster, if I had a brain///would expect that either BP is going to gather those nickles and dimes from OIL or not have the resources to fill your rhetorical cup!  Never mind because your financial accounting amounts to little more than your Romer giggles team little Keynsian garbage in/out multiplyer nonsense expansion paradigm.  Admit it Mr. community organizer that you just don't get most anything in the real world 'cept the  'me want" get from some other entity! Otherwise the "Daddy did you cap the well" comment from your daughter, whom apparrently doesn't get CNN?
Watching the pollen and summers' crud spill  over America with the "left smart people" doing an other"Bush" did IT story again light the imaginary past but serves No tomorrow.

Obama's (Jackhammer Joe) One term Presidency

Has anyone heard about Obama presiding over the Summit to summit about legislating a Bill on healthcare, or health insurance reform or  universal health insurance to want to vomit the Nancy driven leftist version of wellness?  I went to the trouble to attend a Townhall with my  Senator, McCaskill, and asked specifically if she would join senator Schumer in the Nuclear Option,  sent repeated emails and just got a responce that says it all :

Thank you for contacting me regarding health care reform.  I welcome the opportunity to update you about what is contained in the Senate health care bill and clear up some wide-spread misinformation.

According to independent analyses of the bill, including the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office, the recently-passed Senate health care reform legislation will reduce the deficit, protect Medicare, and stabilize healthcare costs for over 90% of Americans.  This reform is necessary because the soaring cost of medical care is crippling our economy, bankrupting our nation's families, and becoming an unsustainable financial burden for American employers.  In the last eight years, health care premiums have grown four times faster than wages, and insurance companies have made millions of dollars in profits while routinely denying coverage.

On November 18, 2009, Senate Majority Leader Reid introduced The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.  On December 24, 2009, after five weeks of debate, I voted for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, embodied in H.R. 3590, which passed by a vote of 60 to 39.  The Senate bill (H.R. 3590) and the previously passed House bill (H.R. 3962) must now go through a reconciliation process.

I want you to know that I have read The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act thoroughly and plan to read all of the provisions in a final, reconciled health reform bill before casting my vote on final passage.  If you would also like to read the full text of the legislation, you can find the complete text of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act at http://democrats.senate.gov/.  While there has been an unprecedented amount of transparency during this debate, including hundreds of televised hours of committee work and debate, I disagree with the decision not to have a conference committee to resolve the differences between the House and Senate legislation. I believe that those negotiations should be open to the public.

I supported the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act because it would expand health care coverage to more than 94 percent of Americans, curb skyrocketing healthcare costs, and ensure patient choice of care, all while significantly reducing the government deficit.  The bill would also stop insurance company abuses that prevent people from getting the health care they need, such as denying coverage based on pre-existing conditions.  In addition to consumer protections, the bill establishes state-based health insurance exchanges where individuals and small businesses can compare and purchase insurance plans online at more competitive prices.

I have heard from some Missourians who have concerns regarding certain provisions in the Senate bill.  The Senate bill not only upholds current federal law which requires that no federal funds can be used to pay for an abortion except in the case of rape, incest, or danger to the life of the mother, but further requires insurance plans to keep federal funds completely separate from private premium dollars, and that anyone purchasing abortion coverage do so with a separate private payment.  I will continue to monitor the crafting of this language in the final bill to both ensure that no federal dollars are used to pay for any abortion, while also upholding women's access to critical medical care.

The bill also expressly exempts illegal immigrants from any of the health care programs and the ability to participate in the health insurance exchange.  Some non-citizens who lawfully reside in the United States and pay taxes on their earnings may be eligible to purchase health insurance in the exchange, provided they meet prescribed eligibility requirements.

In addition, there are provisions that will strengthen seniors' Medicare benefits and significantly reduce fraud, abuse, and inefficiencies in the program, which could extend the life of the Medicare Trust Fund beyond 2022.  Let me emphasize that none of these changes would reduce the guaranteed benefits that seniors are entitled to under the Medicare program.

Finally, the bill requires that Members of Congress and their staffs buy their insurance on the same exchange that will be available to those who don't get insurance from their employer.  In other words, Members of Congress will be required to be part of the new insurance exchange that we are creating.

I am opposed to any special deals in this bill for particular states.  This earmarking process is an ingrained culture in Washington, where every year members go into back rooms and negotiate special deals for their states.  This is a problem on both sides of the aisle and I find it hypocritical that some of the same Senators who are criticizing the earmarks in the health care bill were in line for special deals for their states in the annual spending bills passed just a few weeks ago.  I'm proud that I am one of the few Senators of either party that refuses to participate in this flawed earmarking process.  I'm hopeful that some of these special earmarks will be removed from the bill before our final vote.

This bill is not perfect, but in the end, I supported this legislation because it will reduce the federal deficit and contain health care costs.  With one out of every six dollars in our economy going toward health care in the United States, it is imperative that our government work to rein in the soaring cost of health care.  The bill will not only reduce the cost of insurance for families but also decrease the national deficit in the long term.  In fact, the Congressional Budget Office estimates that the bill would reduce the federal deficit by $130 billion over the next decade, followed by another $650 billion cut in the deficit in its second decade.

Health care reform holds the promise of lowering government budget deficits, curbing unsustainable health care costs, and expanding access to health coverage.  As the health care debate continues, I will continue to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to find meaningful solutions to these difficult and complex problems.

Again, thank you for contacting me. Please do not hesitate to contact me in the future if I can be of further assistance to you on this or any other issue.

Sincerely,

Claire McCaskill
United States Senator

P.S. If you would like more information about resources that can help Missourians, or what I am doing in the Senate on your behalf, please sign up for my email newsletter at www.mccaskill.senate.gov.

Does anyone think that senator McCaskill is anything but a Vote for ObamaCare despite her repotoir all season long to her constituents; just a log roll for her President!

Max's Montana Math and Amendment XXVIII to the Constitution

Nice try, you have been in the Senate as long as the departed Ted Kennedy, that alone says alot of where your politics and abilities come from...not what the Big Sky ad campaigns  promote.  Never mind that American workers are already saddled with 4 deduction lines on a paycheck for (FIC,SIT,MedC, & SSI) you want to include a new line for 'mandatory' health insurance, well go to the line that includes Flag Burning buster!  It was a miracle after a several hour wait that you actually felt the urge to get in front of the cameras in DC to promote a Bill that your other Gang of 6 couldn't join..lonely territory for a supposedly astute committee.  It would make sense if you threw Market based proposals in same as the auto world or groceries and clothes competes in, and Tort Reform, but NO...another sop to the democratic left special interest polluters.  How much of that money would end up in the trial lawyers pockets before the usual tithing to a politician at election time? And you put blame on the Insurance Cos. that actually with their faults are collecting the money and paying the bills and solvent even with 50% being non-profit, better than the USPS.  The President said "not a dime..", but your Bill asks for $856B!  I mean if your DC friends think the Fanny& Freddy are Dodd enough, what is a mandate to ...buy something or the IRS is going to fine them going to precipitate if you didn't like the August Townhalls?  YOU want a mandate...pass a NEW Constitutional Amendment that will make a citizen buy your demand(s).
If the party, democrats, that passed most of these social programs, whether of good intention, didn't work through constitutional mean, but the machinations of the seperation of powers and a weak disposition at times of those seperations, and a sleepy populous...not today dude.  Take a pet to a trough and think thirst, then remember your wallet or a neighbors...right, politicians always think someone else has a bigger wallet..seems we have big potholes and other infrastructure failure despite all the money that went ACORN AMERICA'S HEZBOLLAH.
Pass an Amendment XXVIII to make me buy the governments's demand, and I'll play this health care game, otherwise go to a Townhall and explain your ability to demand your constituents 'hard earned labor', and remind them of the Flag burning Amendment while you're dreaming of passing this garbage bill.

Obama's quick written Napkin Health Plan and rotten doings

President Obama is looking more like a Soap Opera fill-in character than the real deal.  Just view the ABC feed of the poor guy strolling across the WH lawn with hunched shoulders alone and no smile, add in that the camera never pans the 'adoring' stringline waiting for a handshake or autograph...Bush always waived and greeted the 'folks'!
Now that August is over, sales are budget constrained, the Stimulus is a continual LIE by VP Biden as to the stimulation that Green jobs are OUR future, and that Michigan couldn't afford to keep the snow off the roads last year and are opening the jail doors this year...speaks trouble ahead for many states with record unemployment and food stamp dispersements.
Can you imagine what the Gang of Six in the senate are thinking tonight before returning to Washington DC after months of rangling over the Health Care Bill in the Finance Committee to have a week before declaration that the Napkin Bill is the result of a dinner conversation with a Czar...I don't think Max Baucus is or should be a happy camper.  Does anyone have a clue where a $Trillion is going to come from as a downpayment for this dog?  The economy is a disaster, and will remain so with this borrow and spend Clunker mentality in tow.  When the government wants to spend $787 Billion of borrowed...what is the REAL number of debt applied to our posterity?  Take a 30 year mortgage at 8%...the original amout is about triple with interest...when paid off; is this or any future Administration going to actually repay this Blinging?  I believe it's time that America have a legislative Truth in Borrowing Accounting as to what the 'total cost' is to this profligate waste of borrow for the sake of Pander from the political elite/office holders that seem to be anything but Elite, but as bankrupt as our National piggy bank appears and going further wayward with the Democrats wishing to achieve the Unicorn of SF,CA.  Look around the recent cutbacks by the Federal government, the WIC program will now reduce milk if you breastfeed, imagine that along with two years no SSI COLA, and the 'we're broke' message is slipping into our lives without much News mention that drives the message home...that China will soon ask America for some real collatoral for the borrowing ...maybe like California's EBay auction, say ownership of Yosemite or Yellowstone Parks....think about what we are doing to ourselves for a perverse desire to 'get a free lunch' from a politician!   I don't want an Ameritina (America/Argentina) as my future reality, do you?
